IMPORTANT NEWS FOR APRIL ~
Football Camp for 6th Grade has been moved to NEXT Thurs/Fri May 1st-2nd.
ILEARN testing resumes today!
Notice: All bus routes are back to normal.
There will be no Woodworking Monday April 21- April 25th.
2025 Jr. Lady Commodore Fundamentals will be held on every Wednesday in June ( 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th) for Incoming 1st-2nd grade session : 4:30- 5:30pm (June 4th @ 9-10am) Incoming 3rd-4th grade session: 5:30pm -6:30pm (June 4th @ 10-11am). Fieldhouse court# 1 (June 4th Fieldhouse court 3) Cost is FREE. Registration forms have been passed out and are due by Friday, May 16th. to school offices or Coach Schaefer.
2025 DistinXion Basketball Camp for girls- incoming grades 3 - 8 will be held June 26th with 3rd - 4th attending 8-9:00 a.m., 5th-6th attending 9-10:30 a.m. and 7th-8th attending 10:30-12:00 p.m. Cost is FREE. Registration forms have been passed out and are to be turned into school offices or Coach Schaefer.
2025 Girls Summer Basketball Camp : Tuesday- Friday May 27th - May 30th. $ 30 per camper. Incoming 2nd- 4th grade 9am- 10am. Incoming 5th - 6th grade 10am- 12pm. Forms and money are due by May 19th to Coach Schaefer. Forms have been passed out, there are extra forms in the information station,
$1.00 ice cream on Friday
Please label jackets, water bottles and lunch boxes etc.
There will be a Paper Mache Show sign up sheet in the Elementary Office beginning Monday April 14th. Please sign up before Friday April 18th. Shows will begin on Tuesday April 22nd and run through Monday April 28th. (A preview time schedule is posted below but you can ONLY sign up in the Elem. Office)
We need your old phone books - We have 500 books so far! PSC Phone Book Recycling Sponsored by Family Outreach is underway! Please help us reach our goal of over 700 phone books. We will receive 50 cents for each book collected and recycled. All proceeds go toward purchasing school supplies. All Elementary classrooms will receive a reward when we reach our goal. Phone books can be sent with students or dropped off at any office. Last day for phone book donations is April 25th, 2025. Teachers please place these outside your classroom and Mrs. Joyce will pick them up by 10 am.
Color Our World Youth Art Contest - Forms are available in the information station outside of the office. The winning artwork will be made into a collectable summer reading prize bookmark at the Tell City Library. Return finished artwork by April 30th. Questions see Mrs. Bev Alvey in the library.
Spring Outdoor Adventures to Wilstem Ranch on Saturday, April 5th has been cancelled for this Sunday and the makeup date is April 27th from 12 - 6pm. You still may sign up if interested. The event is for students in grades 3-12. If already in 4-H, the event is $25, which includes bus transportation from Perry Central, lunch, safari wagon ride, guided tour and feeding a giraffe. Check or cash can be sent to Perry Central Elementary office, or 4-H Extension Office. Make checks to Perry County 4-H Council. If your child is not in 4-H, an extra $20 fee will be assigned during computer enrollment on 4honline.com.
Attention current 5th graders: Anyone interested in joining band next year needs to attend Instrument Try Outs on Wednesday, April 30 from 2pm-5pm in the band room (bottom of the dome). Students will be able to try out all the instruments and make their choice for band in 6th grade. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Clark

Tri-County Typhoons Summer Swim Club Info: Open to any student interested in learning how to swim more effectively or competitively. Monday- April 28th 5:30 - 6:30pm or Wednesday, April 30th 5-6pm at the Tell City Junior Senior High School Pool. UPCOMING EVENTS FOR MAY ~
Elementary Track Meet & Grandparent's Day! There will be a BOGO Book Fair (Buy one, Get one), Petting Zoo, and a Special Music Performance for each grade level, coordinated by Mrs. Esarey! Concessions will be available for purchase - ran by the student council. When you arrive, please go to the bleachers on the home side of the track. Mrs. Esarey and students will perform on the track. After the performance, guest can meet up with their students. All students are encouraged to remain at school after the track meet. Our guests are encouraged to only stay for their student's session.

German American Bank offers Perry Central School Spirit debit cards. The bank donates $.02 to Perry Central for every debit card transaction. If you currently have a GAB debit card, there is no charge to switch to a PC School Spirit card. The cards are printed at any location in just a few minutes.
